Job Description

Position Summary An Early Childcare Worker provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for young children. The role involves supervising children, supporting their physical, emotional, social, and educational development, and working closely with families and other childcare staff. Key Responsibilities Supervise and care for children in a safe and welcoming environment. Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, and learning experiences. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Assist with meals, snacks, dressing, toileting, handwashing, and other daily routines. Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment. Observe children's behavior and development and communicate relevant information to parents or supervisors. Encourage positive behavior, cooperation, sharing, and independence. Follow health, safety, sanitation, and childcare regulations and procedures. Provide comfort and reassurance to children when needed. Communicate respectfully and professionally with parents, caregivers, coworkers, and supervisors. Record daily activities, incidents, observations, and other required information. Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established safety procedures.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.96 per hour
