Job Description
Signing Bonus! Child's Play of St. Cloud MN, have an immediate opening for a Childcare Aide/Kitchen staff. This position is from 37-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, no evenings or weekends, closed 10 holidays. Hours will be between 7:30AM and 4:00PM. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is reliable, punctual, enjoys working in a kitchen, loves children and helping them develop, and who is wanting to get into the childcare field and possibly attain their Child Development Associates Credential! Duties include but are not limited to Prep, set up, serving Breakfast, Lunch and snack, and cleanup after meals Learning USDA Food Program requirements regarding safety and serving sizes Washing dishes and toys, cleaning of the kitchen, assisting with laundry Interacting with the children Assisting the teacher with the daily routine if needed in a room Caring for children's basic needs, including diapering, keeping them safe Filling in if staff are ill, helping with breaks Assisting with closing routine Some outdoor duties Any other duties assigned by the Lead Teacher or Director Full job description available $1000.00 - $1500.00 Signing Bonus! All applicants must be over 18, have at least graduated high school, speak, read, and write English, and have reliable transportation. Must be Infant/ Child CPR and First Aid Certified or be willing to obtain certification. Job requires being able to lift 30 lbs., work standing up and be able to go up and down stairs. Must be punctual and reliable! Experience in a Center is a plus! $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, compensation commensurate upon experience.
