Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Child Care Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will provide flexible, high-quality care across various classrooms and age groups, ensuring that each child's developmental needs are met in a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment. As a Child Care Floater, you will support classroom teachers, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a positive atmosphere that promotes learning and growth for children of different ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Your energetic approach and adaptability will help create a seamless experience for children and staff alike. Duties Assist in supervising children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities across multiple classrooms or settings Support classroom teachers by helping implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood development principles Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster social skills, creativity, and cognitive development Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by following health and safety protocols at all times Collaborate with staff to monitor individual children's progress and behavior management strategies Step into different roles as needed—covering breaks or supporting special programs—to ensure continuous quality care Skills Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development stages and best practices in early childhood education Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or nannying environments Strong classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and engagement First aid certification to respond effectively to emergencies involving children Expertise in working with individuals with disabilities or special needs using inclusive strategies Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules or classroom needs with enthusiasm and professionalism Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with parents or guardians Join us as a Child Care Floater to make a meaningful difference in young lives! Pay:
