Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Child Care Floater (Pre-school) to join our dynamic team. This vital role offers the opportunity to support classroom operations across our preschool programs, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for young learners. As a Child Care Floater, you will bring your passion for early childhood development to life by assisting teachers, supervising children, and maintaining a lively learning atmosphere. Duties Support classroom activities by assisting lead teachers with lesson implementation and child supervision Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times through vigilant supervision and adherence to safety protocols Engage children in age-appropriate play, educational activities, and social interactions that promote development Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and environment Follow all mandated reporting laws and health guidelines, including pediatric first aid procedures when necessary Adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups within the preschool setting to provide consistent support Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of child development principles and classroom management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to work flexible hours across various classrooms as needed Demonstrated understanding of mandated reporting laws and behavior management strategies Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of children!
