Job Description
Opportunity for Professional Nanny in Cary; Child-Related Tasks Only! Flexible Schedule! This role could be as little as 30 or as many as 40 hours per week for the right candidate, depending on schedule preference and flexibility. This could look like M-F, doing either an early start (7:30 or 8), or you could choose to come in after nap, at 10AM. Mom works from home with amazing flexibility. It would be a bonus if the candidate is open to the occasional weekend day, but not necessary. Guaranteed hours (amount to be determined once schedule is agreed upon, prior to contract). Ideal start date would be the week of October 12. Negotiable compensation and benefits with a targeted rate of $26-$32/hr, depending on experience. PTO, sick leave, and paid holidays. Warm, intentional parents seek professional, long-term nanny to care for a sweet little boy in West Cary who turned 1 in June. The ideal candidate is a genuine, warm, loving and joyous career nanny who understands early childhood development and toddler milestones, and has experience with baby led weaning and toilet training. Someone who has cultural competency and has worked with Indian families would be wonderful. Willingness to learn and respect Indian culture is essential. The family is moving to NC from CT to raise their son around dad's family. Bonus points if you have any level of exposure to Hindi. An aligned match will respect the importance of family, community and culture, and have a deep understanding of emotional intelligence, developmental milestones, and nature-based play. The family will live just seconds from the Alston Center Lifetime, and would appreciate a nanny that is willing to take their son to fun activities that are put on there throughout the day. Applicants for this particular role should be experienced working with toddlers, non-smokers, CPR/First aid certified (willing to be up to date by your first day on the job), and have legal authorization to work in the US. The most competitive applicants will have 3+ years of professional nanny experience, speak a second language (bonus points if you can expose the children to Spanish, Hindi, or a regional Indian language), and have a bachelors degree.
