This role offers an enriching opportunity to nurture young minds, assist with daily routines, and create a safe, loving environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, compassionate, and experienced in managing the needs of children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Duties Provide attentive childcare for children of different ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and educational activities to promote development and independence Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing personalized care plans and engaging in therapeutic activities when required Maintain a clean and organized living environment by performing residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning children's areas, laundry, and light household chores Offer personal transportation assistance for school runs, appointments, or outings to ensure timely arrivals and departures Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations following proper protocols and report incidents accurately to parents or guardians Qualifications Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants and preschoolers Prior nannying or private home childcare experience is essential; experience with multiple children is highly valued Knowledge of childcare best practices, child development milestones, and caregiving techniques for children with disabilities or special needs Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is preferred to stay current on safety procedures Ability to perform cleaning tasks related to residential housekeeping efficiently and thoroughly Strong cooking skills to prepare healthy meals suitable for children's dietary requirements Personal transportation assistance skills to safely transport children as needed Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills who can foster a positive environment for children's growth This position offers a rewarding opportunity to be an integral part of a family's daily life while providing top-quality care.
