A Nanny or Babysitter provides care for children in their homes. Stays with children on a regular basis or for occasional day or evening times, or works full time; may live with a family.
A warm, active family of 4 near the Mayfaire/Airlie Gardens area of Wilmington are looking for the kind of nanny/family assistant who shows up early, brings the crayons and the enthusiasm, and treats "reliable" as a personality trait rather than a nice-to-have. Two sweet kiddos — a curious 4-year old and an adorable, soon-to-be two-year-old — are ready for someone who can turn a Tuesday afternoon into an adventure in counting, coloring, and (gently) putting the TV remote out of reach. This is a full-time, long-term role where you'll spend half your time focused on the kids and half your time focused on keeping the home organized and running smoothly.
What Your Day Will Include:
Lead engaging, screen-light activities: alphabet and counting games, arts & crafts, workbooks, and imaginative play Drive the kids to activities, story time, children's museum, and other developmentally enriched outings (car seats provided) Whip up kid-friendly meals and help with meal prep for the family Keep the household humming: dishes, family laundry, errands, and everyday organization Show up on time, every time — this family's #1 must-have Typically half the day will be spent providing nanny care and half the day providing family assistant support but will be based on family's needs each week.
