Hours Per Week Pay:
$22-$25 per hour Nanny By Design is assisting a wonderful family in Winston-Salem in their search for a long-term part-time nanny for their two children, ages 4 years and 11 months. The family's 4-year-old enjoys trains, reading, arts and crafts, coloring, stickers, outdoor adventures, and learning how things work. Their 11-month-old is active, curious, and loves exploring the outdoors. The family follows a Montessori-inspired parenting approach and values independence, clear communication, and positive guidance. The ideal nanny is warm, nurturing, reliable, patient, energetic, and enjoys spending time outdoors. The family is looking for someone who communicates openly and honestly, supports development through educational play, and limits screen time. Mom works from home and is in and out throughout the day. Dad is Indian, and Tamil is spoken in the home as the children learn both languages.
Responsibilities:
Providing attentive care for two children Planning educational and developmentally appropriate activities Outdoor play and exploration Transporting children to and from activities Preparing meals and snacks Children's dishes and cleanup General tidying related to the children and daily activities Supporting age-appropriate learning and development
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience Previous nanny experience preferred Ability to provide 3 childcare-related references CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before start date) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Minimum one-year commitment preferred Dependable, punctual, and professional
