Job Description

Play Lounge 858 Franklin Avenue, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417 From $17 an hour - Part-time From $17 an hour - Part-time Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team at barre3 in the Play Lounge, a vibrant and engaging environment designed for children while parents are taking class. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a safe, fun, and interactive space where children can explore, learn, and play. This role involves overseeing activities, ensuring the safety of all participants, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for children. Position is to begin the middle of August and continue from there. Hours would be Tuesday 4:15-5:30pm, Wednesday 9:15-10:30am, Friday 9:15-10:30am, Saturday 8-10:30am, Sunday 9:15-11:45am
Responsibilities:
Supervise children in the Play Lounge to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Organize and lead various play activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the lounge area. Engage with children and parents to promote positive interactions. Address any concerns or issues that arise during playtime promptly. Ensure all safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment.
Experience:
Previous experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both children and adults. A creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging activities that stimulate learning through play. Basic first aid knowledge is an advantage but not required. A passion for child development and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a family-oriented environment.
