Job Description

Warm first-time parents in Downtown Jersey City are seeking a calm, capable, playful nanny to care for their infant son. They value professionalism, kindness, confidence, and a collaborative approach to childcare. This is a long-term opportunity with fixed hours, respected boundaries, and plenty of opportunities for outings and developmental engagement.

DZ The Schedule:
Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM-3:00 PM (can push to 8:00 AM if needed) 40 hours per week guaranteed
Start Date:
June or as soon as we find you.
The Child:
2-month-old boy who is doing well and hitting all milestones with ease.
The Family:
First-time parents who welcomed their son in March Warm, respectful, and appreciative of a nanny with confidence, kindness, and a professional approach to childcare Believe in steady routines with plenty of room for curiosity Value work/life balance, fixed hours, and honored boundaries
The Role:
Everything pertaining to the child's care Restocking supplies and re-upping the diaper bag Keeping toys, play areas, and clothes clean and organized Most days include a park or waterfront walk Rainy day outings may include library story time, Liberty Science Center, or sensory classes for socialization No travel is anticipated.
You:
Calm, capable, and playful Love those precious infant interactions Bring warmth, initiative, and teamwork Ready to pitch in and be a steady, supportive presence Long-term verifiable experience with previous families is welcomed Desire to stay and grow with the family long-term Evidence of continuous professional development or an ECE background is a plus
