- Summit, NJ A warm, active family in Summit, NJ is seeking a reliable, engaging, and trustworthy after-school nanny for their 3-year-old and 8-year-old daughters starting the week of September 28th.
Family Specifications:
Active household with three young children (3-year-old girl and 8-year-old twin girls) who enjoy STEM, arts & crafts, outdoor adventures, and music Home includes one very old, gentle, and mellow dog (no pet care required) Strictly non-smoking household Long-term arrangement desired through at least the end of the school yearSchedule:
Monday:
3:00 PM- 6:00
PM Tuesday:
4:00 PM- 7:00
PM Wednesday:
4:00 PM- 7:00
PM Thursday:
4:00 PM- 7:00 PM Total guaranteed weekly hours: ~10-12 hours/week Target start date: Week of September 28th
Note:
Occasional additional afternoon/evening hours may be available due to parent work travel.Responsibilities:
Provide safe transportation from school to local after-school activities in Summit and New Providence (all locations are within a 10-minute drive) Safely escort and supervise children during and after activities Assist with evening routines, including dinner preparation and mealtime help Keep children engaged with screen-free activities, creative play, and outdoor funRequirements:
Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation (family is open to caregiver using their own vehicle with gas/mileage reimbursement or using the family's vehicle) Demonstrated experience providing childcare for multiple children simultaneouslyPreferred:
Spanish language skills (the 3-year-old is fluent in Spanish, though this is not required)Compensation:
$25.00- $30.
