As a Floater, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and engaging environment for children across various age groups. Your flexibility and enthusiasm will help maintain high-quality care, support classroom staff, and foster a nurturing atmosphere where children can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience while making a positive impact on young lives. Duties Provide flexible coverage across different classrooms and age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs Assist lead teachers with daily activities, lesson plans, and classroom management to promote developmentally appropriate learning Support children's emotional well-being by engaging in play, encouraging social skills, and ensuring safety at all times Help with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care tasks in accordance with health and safety guidelines Maintain a clean, organized environment by sanitizing toys, surfaces, and materials regularly Communicate effectively with staff and parents to share updates on children's progress and needs Respond promptly to children's needs and adapt to changing classroom dynamics with enthusiasm Skills Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying or babysitting roles Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to perform first aid and CPR; certification preferred but not required initially Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is a plus Strong caregiving skills with an understanding of infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families Join us as a Floater if you're passionate about nurturing young minds, eager to learn across different age groups, and committed to creating a safe, joyful environment for every child. Pay:
$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
