While the oldest child attends an out of town boarding school during the year, all three boys will be home during summers. This is a wonderful opportunity for a detail-oriented candidate who enjoys balancing childcare, household management, and logistical support in a collaborative, long-term role. Responsibilities will include school pickups and transportation to sports and activities, homework support, preparing snacks and simple meals, coordinating schedules, assisting with household organization, family laundry, loading and unloading the dishwasher, light tidying, errands, and occasional pet-related tasks such as dog daycare or grooming drop-offs. While the parents often prep weekly meals, a candidate who is comfortable with simple meal prep or who enjoys cooking would be a welcome addition. The family values someone who can anticipate needs, take initiative, and naturally integrate into the rhythm of the household without requiring close direction. The children are bright, active, and involved in soccer and extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will be warm, engaged, and genuinely interested in building relationships with older children and teenagers while also maintaining appropriate structure and expectations. A candidate who is highly organized, adaptable, communicative, and comfortable supporting a very busy physician household will thrive in this role. College-educated candidates or those confident in providing hands-on homework assistance are strongly preferred. This family has a long history of employing nannies and household managers and deeply values the role their caregiver plays within their home.
