Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and caring Nanny/ Summer Babysitter to provide attentive childcare for a 2 year old boy. This role offers a wonderful opportunity to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the 2 year old during the summer months and hopefully until October.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, possess excellent caregiving skills, and be committed to supporting children's developmental needs through fun, educational activities. This paid position emphasizes safety, patience, and enthusiasm to make each day enjoyable and enriching for the children in your care. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for the child while parents work on property and ensuring their safety at all times during babysitting or summer care sessions Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development Assist with daily routines sometimes a nap Support children's emotional well-being by offering comfort, encouragement, and positive interaction Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols diligently Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, milestones, and any concerns that arise Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to children's health and safety Requirements Prior experience in nannying, babysitting, daycare work, or teaching young children is highly preferred Knowledge of infant care practices and toddler development stages Certification in first aid is required; CPR certification is a plus Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience and enthusiasm Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential Ability to engage children through playful interaction while maintaining safety standards Join us in making a positive impact on children's lives this summer!
