  • Part-time, Contract A loving family in Hewlett is seeking an energetic, confident, and adventurous weekend nanny primarily focused on the care of their 5-year-old child on the autism spectrum.
This role is perfect for someone active, creative, and capable of planning fun sensory-friendly outings while confidently taking charge of the child's care and safety. Schedule Saturdays & Sundays consistently and reliably 9:30 AM
  • 7:30 PM Compensation $40/hour Guaranteed 20 hours Responsibilities Provide one-on-one care and support for a 5-year-old child on the autism spectrum Plan and facilitate engaging outings including parks, beaches, Adventureland, sensory-friendly activities, and local adventures Create fun, active, and stimulating days tailored to the child's interests and sensory needs Support communication, emotional regulation, and transitions throughout the day Maintain safety while encouraging independence, confidence, and exploration Drive the child to outings, activities, and community adventures Work collaboratively with parents to provide consistency and structure Ideal Candidate Experience working with children with autism or developmental differences Confident managing solo outings and community activities is required Energetic, proactive, and highly engaging Strong leadership skills with a calm and patient demeanor Valid driver's license and clean driving record required Comfortable driving regularly and transporting child safely Looking for someone genuinely passionate about creating meaningful experiences for children with special needs
