Job Description
In-House Babysitter / Childcare Assistant Family-Owned Appliance Store | Part-Time We are a family-owned appliance business looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible in-house babysitter to provide childcare for our young child while we are working at the store. The babysitter will work within our appliance store and be responsible for keeping our child safe, happy, and engaged throughout the day. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for a comfortable, family-oriented work environment. Responsibilities Provide attentive and loving care for our child during working hours Supervise and ensure the child's safety at all times Prepare snacks and meals as needed Change diapers and assist with bathroom needs Keep the child entertained with age-appropriate activities, toys, books, and play Maintain a clean and organized play area Follow the family's daily routine and instructions Communicate with parents regarding the child's needs, activities, and schedule Provide a positive, patient, and nurturing environment Qualifications Previous childcare or babysitting experience preferred Must be dependable, responsible, and punctual Must genuinely enjoy working with young children Patient, attentive, and energetic personality Ability to multitask and remain attentive in a busy workplace environment CPR/First Aid certification is a plus References may be requested Schedule & Environment This is an in-house childcare position located within our family-owned appliance store . The child's parent(s) will be working on-site and available when needed. We are looking for someone who can become a trusted and dependable part of our family and provide consistent care in a warm, respectful environment.
