Nanny/House Manager Home Staffing by Rina Rye, NY Job Details Full-time $30 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off Qualifications Personal service experience with children Household management English Schedule management Driver's License Full Job Description Full-Time Nanny / House Manager Rye, NY | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM | $30-$35/hour A warm family in Rye, NY is seeking an experienced, engaging, and dependable Full-Time Nanny / House Manager to care for their two children, ages 4 and 1.5 . This is a long-term position for someone who genuinely enjoys young children, is active and social, and can help keep the children's daily routines and household needs running smoothly. Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM Occasionally, the family will need the day to begin at 7:30 AM . Responsibilities The older child attends school from approximately 8:00 AM-2:00 PM .
Responsibilities will include:
Dropping the 4-year-old off at school and picking them up in the afternoon Caring for the 1.5-year-old during the school day Providing age-appropriate stimulation, play, reading, outings, and developmental activities for the younger child Preparing meals and snacks for both children Handling the children's laundry Keeping children's bedrooms, play areas, and other child-related spaces clean and organized Picking the older child up from school Planning engaging afternoon activities such as trips to the park, library, zoo, playgrounds, and other age-appropriate outings Transporting the children to and from playdates Hosting playdates at the family's home Helping manage the children's schedules, belongings, and day-to-day routines The children are very social and have frequent playdates with other children in the neighborhood, so the family would especially appreciate someone who enjoys facilitating friendships, outings, and an active social schedule. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: Warm, nurturing, and genuinely engaged with children Energetic and comfortable being active throughout the day Creative about finding stimulating activities and outings Organized and able to manage children's schedules and household responsibilities independently Comfortable coordinating and hosting playdates Reliable and punctual A strong communicator Comfortable driving children to school, activities, outings, and playdates Looking for a stable, long-term position with a family Requirements Valid US drivers license and clean record 3+ years of childcare experience Strong references from a similar position English language skills Compensation & Benefits $30-$35/hour , depending on experience and qualifications. The position will be paid legally through a payroll service as a W-2 employee .
