Live In Nanny Needed•Stony Point, NY Full-time Monday-Friday About the Family A warm and welcoming family in Stony Point, NY is seeking a nanny for their 3-year-old son and 4 month old. Their 3 year old, who has a diagnosis of mild cerebral palsy, is in camp and school during the day and is part of a structured care program. His condition is well managed and not severe. No medical knowledge or nursing experience is required to care for him and besides being in school for the full day, he has some therapies after school in the home. Their 4 month old baby is home for the full day, and will be at home for the next couple of years, and will be the primary focus of your day. The family receives support through a state program that helps with the care of their 3 year old and provides partial funding and benefits for this role. They are looking for someone kind, responsible and attentive who can provide consistent, loving care.

Responsibilities:

Care for the 3-year-old child when home, and 4 month old infant who will be home all day Assist with morning and after-school routines Engage in age•and ability-appropriate play and activities Ensure safety and well-being at all times Keep the child's areas clean and organized Handle the child's laundry Light household cleaning and organization as time allows (no deep cleaning) Assist with meal prep as needed (no cooking for the family required) Help maintain a smooth and organized household Requirements Minimum 2+ years of childcare Strong references from previous employers Reliable, patient, and nurturing personality CPR and HHA certification•if you do not have either of these, free paid training and certification will be provided! Comfortable working in a home Ability to be paid on the books (required due to government program) Strong driver with valid license preferred but not required This is a LIVE IN role

Compensation & Benefits Compensation:

$1,800•2,000 per week, based on experience and skills•can be as high as $2,200/week depending on qualifications and programs.
