Job Description
We are currently hiring for our part-time sitter team! We are looking for after-school babysitters to work in the Cleveland area! As a babysitter on our team, you create your own schedule based on when you are available to work. You will be scheduled with families based on your experience, availability, and location preferences. All families are trusted members of Jovie. Sitters are responsible for keeping children safe, having fun, being active, cooking meals, handling bedtime, etc. Want to learn more quickly? About you:
1+ year of professional nanny, babysitting or other childcare experience such as camp counselor, big brother/big sister, church nursery volunteering, school courses Availability from 3pm- 11pm at least two weekdays, for 4
- 6 hour shifts within these times Professional appearance and excellent communication skills Engagement and desire to play, read, do arts and crafts or other fun activities Responsibility and reliability to support the family and children Willingness and ability to assist with homework as needed Minimum of 2
- 3 month commitment, longer if desired A driver's license and a reliable vehicle; possible transport of children Ability to pass a background screen; 3 references (2 of which are childcare-related) Age requirement of at least 17.
