Job Description
Part-Time | 15-30 Hours Per Week $15.00 per Hour | Non-Exempt $300 Sign-On Bonus! Bonus paid upon completion of your first 30, 60, and 90 days. Make a Difference Before and After the School Day Do you enjoy working with children and creating positive experiences that help them learn, grow, and thrive? We're looking for energetic, caring, and dependable individuals to join our Before & After School Program team. This is an excellent opportunity for college students, education majors, retirees, paraprofessionals, parents returning to the workforce, or anyone who enjoys mentoring and supporting school-age children in a fun and engaging environment. Schedule Options Morning Shifts Monday through Friday Between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM or 9:30 AM Afternoon Shifts Monday through Friday Between 2:00 PM or 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM Must be 18 years of age or older. What You'll Do As a Group Leader, you'll help create a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment where children can build confidence, develop friendships, and have fun before and after school.
Responsibilities include:
Supervising and engaging school-age children in a safe and positive environment Planning and leading age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, and enrichment experiences Building positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and community partners Supporting children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Ensuring the safety and well-being of every child at all times Maintaining required child-to-staff ratios Assisting with weekly lesson planning and program implementation Following all licensing, state, federal, and quality standards, including ODJFS and Step Up to Quality requirements Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily experience Maintaining clean, organized, and engaging program spaces Reporting concerns, incidents, or special needs appropriately and professionally Participating in staff meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities What We're Looking For We're seeking individuals who are passionate about working with children and committed to creating meaningful experiences every day.
