Job Overview Please read carefully before applying. There are certain requirements that must be met within the description to be considered (Please note that informal babysitting/parenting/SAHM/STNA/DSP experience will not be considered) About the Family A warm, professional family based in Shaker Heights is seeking a dedicated part-time nanny to care for their twin 4-year-old daughters. The household is French-speaking, and the girls may have limited English, comfort with bridging language differences is a plus, but not required. Position Details Schedule This is a split-shift, part-time position (school year only): Morning shift: 7:30 - 9:00 AM (breakfast, morning routine, school drop-off); 7:00 AM start required on Mondays and Fridays Afternoon shift: 2:30 - 6:00 PM (school pickup, afternoon care) Opportunity for additional hours may be present
Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate:
$28.00 per hour Primary Responsibilities Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks (no pork in the household) Oversee morning routines including breakfast, hygiene, and school drop-off Manage afternoon pickup and provide engaging, age-appropriate activities Plan and lead hands-on learning activities such as crafts, sensory play, cooking together, and outdoor exploration Foster independence — help the girls learn to do things for themselves at their own pace (dressing, peeling fruit, tidying up, etc.) Follow the family's gentle parenting approach: calm redirection, firm boundaries, and no yelling or time-outs Limit screen time to a maximum of 1 hour per day, with a preference for slow-paced, calm content Handle children's laundry and maintain tidiness in children's spaces and play areas Keep parents informed through photos and text updates throughout the day (phone calls reserved for emergencies) Coordinate with grandma when she is visiting and keep her informed of the daily routine Required Qualifications Experience working with multiples or siblings close in age Strong understanding of preschool-age child development Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy - especially for the early morning shift Comfortable maintaining healthy work/life boundaries Previous nanny experience Apply here: https://everlynannies.enginehire.io/application-form/921/35155 All candidates presented through Everly Nannies need to have the following: Current First Aid and CPR Up to date vaccinations Non-Smoker Minimum 3• years of _ professional •_childcare/nannying experience Strong understanding of DAP and play based learning Willing to undergo a background check and screening process To apply, submit your resume through Indeed and complete your prescreener here: https://everlynannies.enginehire.io/application-form/921/35155
Pay:
