About Us The Innovative Thinkers Institute is more than a childcare program—we are a child development center focused on nurturing emotional intelligence, independence, healthy habits, creativity, and early learning. We provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment where children are encouraged to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. Position Summary We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Childcare Team Member to join our growing team. The ideal candidate loves working with children, understands the importance of positive behavior guidance, and is committed to helping children learn through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities Support daily routines, including meals, naps, and transitions Foster emotional regulation, independence, and positive social skills Assist with educational activities, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and enrichment programs Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment Follow licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and program policies Communicate professionally with families and team members Assist with meal preparation and light cleaning duties as needed Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Experience working with children preferred Reliable transportation and strong attendance record Ability to pass required background checks CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Positive attitude, patience, and strong communication skills What We're Looking For Someone who genuinely enjoys helping children grow and learn A team player with a nurturing yet professional approach Creative, dependable, and adaptable Passionate about child development, behavior management, and creating meaningful learning experiences What We Offer Starting pay of $15/hour: increase based on experience Flexible scheduling Supportive and growth-oriented work environment Professional development opportunities The opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families
