Incomplete applications or candidates who do not meet the minimum experience requirement will not be considered. _______________________________________________________ Long-Term Nanny / Family Assistant Needed for Two Toddlers A warm and welcoming family is seeking a reliable, engaging, and energetic nanny to care for their two young children beginning in August 2026, with flexibility for an earlier start date for the right candidate. This is a long-term opportunity with a family hoping to build a lasting relationship with a caregiver who can grow alongside their children. The position will primarily involve caring for a preschool-aged child and a younger toddler three days per week while creating a nurturing, structured, and playful environment. The family values gentle parenting, consistency, creativity, and collaborative communication. Schedule Monday, Thursday, and Friday Approximately 7:00/7:30 AM - 3:00 PM Guaranteed hours provided Flexibility appreciated on occasion Long-term commitment preferred (minimum one year, ideally longer) Compensation & Benefits $21-$26/hour depending on experience Payroll/W-2 position PTO, paid holidays, and sick time available Mileage reimbursement provided for on-the-job driving Responsibilities Child-related responsibilities include: Engaging the children in age-appropriate play, crafts, and activities Supporting routines, emotional regulation, and developmental milestones Preparing children's meals and snacks Children's laundry and tidying up child-related areas Transporting children as needed using caregiver's vehicle (car seats provided) The family would also love support with light family assistant duties if the candidate is interested in additional work, such as: Grocery shopping Family laundry Dishes and light household organization Ideal Candidate The ideal nanny is: Warm, patient, playful, and dependable Experienced with toddlers and preschool-aged children Comfortable holding consistent boundaries in a calm and respectful way Creative and proactive with activities, crafts, and outings Collaborative and communicative with parents Energetic enough to keep up with active toddlers while remaining calm and nurturing The family is especially drawn to candidates who enjoy getting on a child's level, encouraging imaginative play, and helping children navigate big emotions with patience and consistency.
