Job Description
Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Child Care Staff member, where your enthusiasm and dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. We are a Christian based center located inside of a local church. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, supporting their growth and development through playful learning and compassionate caregiving. Your energy and positive attitude will help foster a sense of security and joy, ensuring each child feels valued and supported throughout their day. Duties Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to promote safety and well-being Implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and social skills development Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities, ensuring their individual needs are met Maintain a clean and organized environment, including sanitizing toys and play areas regularly Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Assist with classroom management by guiding behavior positively and using effective behavior management techniques Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols to handle emergencies promptly Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred Adhering to company dress code policy No criminal background, must be able to pass a background check Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR is strongly desired to ensure quick response in emergencies Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including diapering, feeding, and engaging them in age-specific activities Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and adaptability Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and connect with children's families A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth while maintaining a lively and positive environment
