In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring every child receives attentive, nurturing support. As a Child Care Floater, you will be an essential team player, stepping into various roles to support staff and maintain seamless daily operations. Duties Assist in supervising children across different age groups, twos, preschoolers, and school-age. Support classroom teachers by helping with activities, lesson implementation, and behavioral management strategies. Engage children in educational play, creative activities, and developmental exercises that promote childhood development. Provide assistance in breaking teachers. Provide responsive caregiving tailored to individual needs, including serving meals, and comforting children as required. Keeping classrooms a clean and organized environment to foster learning and safety. Preparing and serving meals to children as needed. Experience Prior experience working with children in childcare, preschool or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development. Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining a flexible approach to changing daily demands. Food program experience is a plus.
