We are seeking multiple full-time (32-40 hours/week) teacher candidates for our play-based childcare center in Bend. Starting pay will be determined based on experience, with the opportunity to progress up our pay scale. Training and support provided. After a 90-day probationary period ReVillage offers 40 hours of paid vacation, closed for all federal holidays with pay, and 80 hours of sick pay. About ReVillage:
We serve children ages 6 weeks-5 years, and 5 years-12 years during the summer.
Job Summary:
  • The ReVillage float will support all classrooms and be placed where the directors need support for the day.
  • The ReVillage float will assist with crafts, projects and lesson plans when the lead teachers need the support. These are necessary to assist children in social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • ensure that each child will have time outside when the weather permits safe outside play.
  • ensure that all children have access to all of the centers / areas in their classroom. This includes but is not limited to blocks, art materials, easels, books, puzzles, sensory tubs, music, writing tools, playdough, dress-up, manipulatives and loose parts with very few restrictions.
  • control the environment, not the child
  • provide opportunities for each child to create, move, sing, discuss, observe, read, and play each and every day.
Required Training (paid training): the following valid training certificates will be required at the time of the interview or two weeks from hire date Adult and PediatricPediatric First Aid / CPR / AED Oregon Food Handlers Card Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect (RRCAN) Prevention is Better Than Treatment (PBTT) Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety (ICCHS) Foundations for Learning (FFL) Each employee will need a background check prior to hire through the

Work Schedule:
Full Time - Monday - Friday, 32-40 hours per week; there will be times when evening hours / meetings will be required.
Salary:
Starting at $20 - $23 per hour for qualified candidates depending on experience.
