Description Childcare Classroom Assistant:

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic person to join our team. Someone who will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow. This position will support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities and positive interactions. Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times

Lead age-appropriate learning activities, games, crafts, and play

Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs

Assist with meals, snacks, toileting, diapering, handwashing, and rest periods as needed

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom

Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's daily activities and progress

Follow all center policies, health and safety procedures, and state licensing requirements

Work collaboratively with other teachers and center staff
