Childwatch Lead Full Job Description Leading the Burn Boot Camp Childwatch team means making a difference while having fun. For many parents, our 45-minute camps are the only time they get to focus on themselves — and our Childwatch team helps make that possible. We are looking for a positive, organized, energetic leader to oversee our Childwatch program and help create an exceptional experience for both children and parents. The Childwatch Lead is responsible for leading the Childwatch team, maintaining a safe and engaging environment for children, coordinating staff schedules, planning activities and events, supporting member experience, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations within Childwatch. This is a leadership role for someone who loves working with children, enjoys leading a team, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of an uplifting community. Childwatch Lead Responsibilities Lead, coach, and support the Childwatch team Create a safe, fun, engaging, and welcoming environment for children between the ages 8 weeks and 12 years old Coordinate and manage Childwatch staff scheduling and coverage Lead hiring, onboarding, and training Childwatch team members Plan activities, themed events, crafts, and engagement opportunities for children Handle parent questions, concerns, and escalations professionally and compassionately Ensure Childwatch policies and procedures are consistently followed Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Childwatch area Oversee toy organization, sanitation procedures, and completion of cleaning checklists Greet members and assist with Childwatch check-in/check-out as needed Communicate effectively with Burn leadership regarding staffing, operational needs, and member feedback Qualifications Must be 18 years old or older Prior childcare experience required Leadership or team management experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable, compassionate, nurturing, energetic, and professional Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure Passion for creating a positive experience for children and families Background check will be required The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who: Brings positive energy every day Leads with kindness and accountability Loves building relationships with families Is proactive and dependable Can create structure while still making Childwatch FUN Wants to help make Burn Boot Camp feel like a second home for our members and their children If you're passionate about kids, leadership, community, and creating a welcoming environment for families, we'd love to meet you!
Pay:
$16.00 - $21.00 per hour
