Kitchen:

Childcare role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children while preparing nutritious meals. Reporting to the childcare director/designee, you will utilize your core skills in childcare and experience with children to foster their development. Responsibilities will include : (1) Supporting the kitchen production of meals, cleaning, and various needs. (2) Ability to follow specific directions pertaining to meal planning. (3) Responsible for making sure children with food allergies receive appropriate food, milk, etc. (4) Delivers meals to classrooms and assists in cleanup procedures. (5) Washing and sterilizing of dishes, pots, and utensils (6) Cleans common areas utilizing a checklist (7) Collects and completes laundry as need daily (8) Sweeps and mops kitchen area, cleans and washes refrigerator as needed, takes out trash from kitchen area (9) Take inventory of pantry contents, creates shopping lists (10) Perform additional duties as assigned by the director or director designee (11) Support classroom staff with additional needs (cleaning/sanitizing toys, classroom items, provide bathroom breaks, and on rare occasions assist in covering breaks, etc.) (12) Be a role model for our children by presenting a positive attitude, have good hygiene, and be able to work independently Looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to make an impact in a child's life and can be a team player!
