ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a warm, dependable, and proactive Family Nanny & Household Manager to join our family, ideally in a long-term role, beginning late July or early August 2026 . We have two children, ages 3 and 5, based in Memphis, TN (38119). This is a meaningful position for someone who thrives in a family environment, takes pride in their work, and genuinely loves working with children. You will be a trusted partner in the day-to-day life of our family — nurturing our kids, keeping the household running smoothly, and bringing creativity and joy to every day.

POSITION DETAILS, SCHEDULE & HOURS

Monday-Friday with a flexible start time (the Family and Nanny will agree upon a daily start time) between 10:00am and 2:00pm and a consistent end time around 5:00-5:30pm — approximately 20 to 30 hours per week depending on the candidate and family needs Summer and school holiday hours will expand (will be determined and communicated well in advance) Schedule flexibility may be required on occasion with advance notice Overtime paid at 1.5x for hours worked beyond 40 per week

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Competitive hourly rate and paid time off commensurate with experience and hours Mileage and activity expense reimbursement All compensation processed through payroll, including overtime and reimbursements

CHILDCARE RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead daily activities and outings; proactively propose ideas and identify enrichment opportunities for the week ahead Suggest materials, toys, or games for family to purchase to support activities Assist with school pickup and dropoff and transportation to enrichment and extracurricular activities Prepare children's meals and clean up spaces and utensils used during care time Keep play spaces, toys, and common areas tidy

HOUSEHOLD RESPONSIBILITIES

Run errands Maintain children's laundry Light housekeeping and cleaning up after children during care time Prepare children's snacks and meals Keep household and pantry items inventoried; flag or pick up items that need restocking Pack and unpack school bags; ensure snacks, gear, and supplies are ready Assist with seasonal and household projects Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Must be eligible to work in the United States Must consent to a background check and driving record review Valid driver's license and reliable, safe driving record Prior nanny or childcare experience with toddlers and early elementary-age children (references required) Current CPR and First Aid certification (and willingness to maintain as requested) Current vaccinations including annual flu shot; documentation of standard vaccines on AMA/CDC schedule available upon request
