Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Family Assistant to support a busy household by providing comprehensive childcare, household management, and driving services. This vital role involves creating a nurturing environment for children, assisting with daily routines, and maintaining an organized and clean home. Duties Provide childcare for children including pick up from school and taking them to various after school activities Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, assist with light meal prep Perform light household chores such as light cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a tidy living environment; engage children to help with chores (no deep cleaning needed) Offer transportation assistance for school runs, appointments, or extracurricular activities (car provided) Assist with various errands as requested such as grocery pick up, package return, etc Check up on home when family is away on vacation Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure safety at all times

Minimum Hours:

Mon-Thurs 2pm-7pm (8pm ideal); Optional Friday hours 12pm-6pm; opportunity for more hours for the right candidate Requirements Proven experience working with children in private home settings or as a nanny or babysitter Demonstrated ability to care for children with patience and professionalism Certification in first aid and CPR requested (family will pay for and support the training if applying individual does not have certification but is willing to obtain) Strong skills in caregiving, household management, and residential housekeeping Ability to cook nutritious meals for children and perform meal preparation tasks confidently Valid driver's license Willing to submit to a background check Willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude focused 1-2 week paid trial required Pay/Benefits 1099 guarenteed salary Paid vacation; family travels for 4-6 weeks of vacation/year or more; you will get an additional 7 days of vacation for a total of 5-7 weeks off per year(paid) 2 paid sick days

Pay:

$39,000.00 - $54,600.00 per year
