This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. The Director will collaborate with staff, parents, and the community to promote the development and well-being of children in care. Duties Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children and align with state regulations. Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance on best practices in child care and education. Manage daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with licensing requirements. Foster positive relationships with parents, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed about their child's progress. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and implement strategies to support their growth. Collaborate with local organizations and schools to enhance community involvement in child care services. Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety standards. Skills Higher education teaching experience is preferred to effectively guide staff in educational practices. Strong background in education administration to manage the operational aspects of the facility efficiently. Familiarity with university-level educational standards can enhance program development. Experience working with students is essential for understanding developmental needs and creating supportive learning environments.
