Job Description
Part-Time Babysitter Needed in Canyon Lake, TX We are looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced part-time babysitter to provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a safe and engaging environment. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for working with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and dependable relationship with both the children and their family. Must have morning and afternoon availability during the week. Weekends are required. Requirements 2+ years of professional childcare experience (required) Degree or advanced childcare certification preferred, but not required Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred Three professional childcare references Valid U.S. driver's license Must be eligible to work in the United States Willingness to complete a full background check Non-smoker Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required Passion for working with children Reliable, responsible, patient, and compassionate Childcare Experience Experience caring for: Infants Multiples/Twins Preschool-aged children School-age children Teens Children with special needs Responsibilities Provide attentive, nurturing care in a safe and secure environment Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs Follow parents' instructions regarding meals, naps, routines, and activities Maintain a clean and organized play area Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times Communicate appropriately with parents regarding the children's day Preferred Skills Knowledge of early childhood development Patience and compassion Genuine love for children Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and follow family routines Bilingual skills are a plus
