The family is looking for someone who can provide attentive, loving infant care while also serving as a calm and supportive presence in the home. As first-time parents, they value a nanny who is knowledgeable about infant development and can confidently support them through milestones, routines, feeding, and the different stages of infancy. Their baby is currently on reflux medication, so experience with infant reflux and comfort with feeding routines, including keeping baby upright after feeds, is important. The position is Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 AM-5:00 PM, with 30 guaranteed hours per week and the potential for additional hours for the right candidate. The family is looking for someone to start as soon as possible. Compensation is commensurate with experience, and the family offers industry-standard benefits including guaranteed hours, paid vacation, paid sick leave, personal days, and paid stock market holidays, as Dad follows the market holiday schedule. Payment may be made via Zelle, Venmo, cash, or payroll, with the family open to payroll for the right fit. Responsibilities include full infant care, preparing and washing bottles, supporting feeding and reflux routines, managing naps and maintaining a consistent daily schedule, tummy time, developmental play, age-appropriate activities, stroller walks, and light baby-related housekeeping and organization. The nanny should also be comfortable communicating with the parents about the baby's routines, milestones, development, and day-to-day needs. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3+ years of infant nanny experience, a strong understanding of infant development and milestones, and preferably previous experience caring for a baby with reflux. The family is looking for someone warm, nurturing, patient, reliable, and calm who genuinely enjoys working with infants and is comfortable soothing a baby through fussy moments and supporting developmental activities. Candidates must be CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification, legally authorized to work in the U.S.,and have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Driving is not currently required as part of the position, although it may become helpful in the future, and a family vehicle may eventually be available if needed.
