Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Live-In Nanny to provide exceptional childcare and caregiving support within a private household. This position offers the opportunity to care for children in a nurturing, safe, and loving environment while assisting with childcare-related household responsibilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about child development, highly organized, dependable, and capable of creating a safe, engaging, and structured environment for children. The nanny will play an important role in supporting the family's daily routines and ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and happiness. Duties & Responsibilities Provide attentive, personalized care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks based on children's dietary needs and preferences. Assist with daily routines, including bathing, dressing, nap times, bedtime, and age-appropriate educational activities. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, social development, and physical activity. Provide transportation for school drop-offs, appointments, activities, and outings as needed. Perform light household duties related to childcare, including children's laundry, cleaning up after children, organizing toys, and maintaining a tidy play area. Administer basic first aid or CPR in an emergency when necessary. Maintain open and respectful communication with parents regarding the children's daily routines, development, needs, and any concerns. Maintain a safe, clean, positive, and nurturing environment at all times. Qualifications & Experience Previous professional experience as a nanny or caregiver in a private household. Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and good judgment. CPR and First Aid certification required. Strong organizational and household-management skills related to childcare. Spanish or French preferred, but not required. Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required. Car Insurance Clean driving record preferred. Must be willing to complete a background check. Must be dependable, trustworthy, patient, nurturing, and safety-conscious. Must be comfortable with a live-in position and working as part of a private household.
