$22.00•25.00 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience) Position Overview A loving Houston family is seeking a dependable, nurturing, and reliable nanny to care for their school-aged son. The ideal candidate is patient, engaging, and confident building strong relationships with children while providing consistency, structure, and support throughout the school week. This position is perfect for a nanny, teacher, retired educator, or childcare professional seeking a consistent part-time schedule. Schedule Monday•
Friday Morning Shift:
7:00 AM•8:30
AM Afternoon Shift:
3:30 PM•6:00
PM Guaranteed Hours:
20 hours per week Additional hours may be available during: School holidays Summer break Extracurricular activities Parent work travel and special projects Responsibilities Assist with morning routines and school preparation Safely transport child to and from school Provide after-school supervision and support Transport child to extracurricular activities as needed Prepare snacks and light meals for the child Assist with homework support when appropriate Encourage positive routines, independence, and engagement Maintain open communication with parent regarding schedules and activities Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional childcare, nanny, teaching, or youth development experience Experience with school-aged children preferred Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required Clean driving record required CPR/First Aid Certified or willing to obtain certification Strong communication and organizational skills Dependable, punctual, and professional Ideal Candidate The family is seeking someone who is: Warm, patient, and dependable Able to build trust and connection with children Flexible and adaptable Organized and proactive Comfortable transporting children to and from school and activities Interested in building a long-term relationship with the family Additional Information The family's son is active in academics and extracurricular activities. They are looking for a caregiver who can provide consistency, encouragement, and positive support while becoming a trusted part of their village. Background check, driving record review, CPR/First Aid verification, and professional references will be required before placement.
