CINful LLC intends to fill 1 temporary, full-time, Live-in Nanny position. : Provide full-time, live-in care for one 3-year-old child in a private household. Availability for care during early mornings and evenings is required. Direct care includes bathing, dressing, and grooming; preparing and serving nutritious, age-appropriate meals; and maintaining a safe, clean environment for the child. Assist child in development of personal habits, such as personal hygiene and toilet behavior. Educational duties will include implementing structured daily learning and age-appropriate developmental activities focused on toddler development (early literacy, numeracy, and motor skills) and organizing structured play and outings. Activities may include flashcards, educational games, reading, creative play, and use of approved early learning tools and programs. Household tasks are limited to those related to the childs care, including laundering childs clothing/linens and cleaning childs living and play areas. Monitor childs physical and emotional well-being and communicate progress regularly with parent. Regulate children's rest periods and nap schedules. Instruct child in safe behaviors, such as avoiding contact with unsafe objects. Remove hazards to create a safe environment for child. Shop for groceries, clothing, and any other items needed for child's care. Fluency in Afrikaans required to support early language exposure and bilingual development activities within the household.
Three-Fourths Guarantee:
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the employment period, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(i).
Tools and Equipment:
The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all the tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform all assigned duties of the job.
Transportation and Subsistence:
If the worker completes 50 percent of the employment period, the employer will provide or reimburse transportation and daily subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or if the worker is dismissed early, the employer will provide or pay for return transportation and daily subsistence to the place from which the worker came to work for the employer. Travel subsistence will be reimbursed at a minimum rate of $16.78 per day (without receipts) up to a maximum rate of $68.00 per day (with receipts).
Pay and Deductions:
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly on Friday. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. No unauthorized or unapproved deductions will be made from the worker's pay.
Housing and Board:
The position is a live-in arrangement. The employer will provide the worker with private live-in housing/lodging on-site at no cost to the worker. The employer will make all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law. No other unauthorized deductions will be made from the workers pay.
Visa and Border Fees:
The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding personal passport fees). The employer will not charge or accept any recruitment or processing fees from the worker.
Work Schedule:
39 hours per week.
Work days:
Monday through Saturday. Split shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Overtime is not expected or applicable for this position.
Wages and Overtime:
The employer will pay wage of $14.94 per hour. In accordance with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Texas state labor guidelines for live-in domestic service workers, this position is exempt from overtime premium pay. Any hours worked beyond 40 hours in a standard workweek will be paid at the regular base rate of $14.94 per hour.
