Job Description

Part-Time Family Assistant Plano, TX 75093 A wonderful family in Plano is seeking a reliable, bilingual Part-Time Family Assistant to support their family and care for their 5-year-old child. The ideal candidate will be warm, pleasant, organized, and have a positive attitude. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with children while also helping with household tasks and family errands.

Position Details:

Child:

1 child, age 5

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-7:00

PM Start Date:

August 19, 2026

Contract:

12 months

Pay:

$35-$45/hour Family vehicle provided No pets

Responsibilities:

Pick up child from school and safely transport them home. Help with homework and school-related activities. Drive child to extracurricular activities and appointments as needed. Prepare and cook meals for the child and family. Assist with grocery shopping and family errands. Complete children's laundry and fold parents' laundry only. Load and unload the dishwasher. Tidy and organize the child's play area and bedroom. Help maintain an organized and welcoming home environment. Provide attentive, engaging, and nurturing care for the child. Support the family's daily needs with a positive and helpful attitude.

Requirements:

Must be fluent in Spanish and English. Must have experience working with children in a school or educational setting. Must be comfortable helping a 5-year-old with homework. Must be a strong and confident driver with a good driving record. Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable. Must be comfortable cooking and preparing meals. Must be CPR and First Aid certified. Must be organized, proactive, pleasant, and have a positive attitude.

Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
