Duties Provide attentive supervision of children during overnight hours, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the night. Assist with bedtime routines including bathing, reading stories, and settling children into bed comfortably. Monitor children's health and safety, responding promptly to any needs or concerns that arise during the night. Support children with activities that promote relaxation and restful sleep, including calming techniques suitable for various age groups. Assist with light household tasks related to childcare, such as preparing snacks or changing diapers if needed. Maintain detailed logs of overnight activities, sleep patterns, and any incidents to ensure clear communication with parents or guardians. Support children with disabilities or special needs by providing personalized care tailored to their individual requirements. Requirements Proven experience in childcare roles such as babysitting, nannying, or working with children of elementary school age, preschoolers, toddlers, or infants. Certification in First Aid and CPR is essential; experience working with children with disabilities is highly valued. Strong child supervision skills with a focus on safety and emotional support during overnight hours. Ability to handle multiple children simultaneously while maintaining patience and attentiveness. Personal transportation assistance may be required for flexible scheduling or emergency situations. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with families and document overnight care activities accurately. Reliable, energetic, and motivated to provide high-quality overnight care that promotes a secure environment for children.
