Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Professional Nannies to join our dynamic caregiving team across various locations in the San Antonio area. We are currently seeking childcare professionals with newborn/infant experience (1-18mths) specifically 2yrs professionally employed (note: we do not consider private babysitting professional experience). These rewarding roles involve providing exceptional childcare support tailored to the unique needs of families, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for newborns and infants. Once you're on the Twinkle Toes team, you'll have access to our online scheduling system so that you can pick up extra shifts if you want, and do babysitting on nights and weekends. Twinkle Toes is fun, flexible, and lets you manage your own schedule. All positions are paid, ensuring your valuable skills are recognized and rewarded. Responsibilities Deliver attentive childcare that supports a baby in physical, emotional, and developmental growth Handling bottle feeds with both breast milk and formula, then transitioning to solids Engage babies in sensory activities, playtime, motor skill development, tummy time Maintain a safe environment with safety protocols and supervising baby at all times Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare, including cleaning toys, changing bedding, organizing play areas, cleaning bottles, laundry. Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns Support babies with daily routines such as diapering, dressing, bathing, and nap times Help the parents with establishing routines for babies around feeding, naps, sleep Possibly provide transportation Qualifications Proven experience in nannying, babysitting, daycare work, or newborn doula Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques Certification in first aid and CPR will be required Strong skills in meal preparation and light cleaning related to childcare responsibilities Preschool experience or background working in daycare settings is advantageous Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends Bilingual English/Spanish is an asset but not essential Your own reliable, good condition, insured vehicle - willing to transport to/from daycare/school or activities locally (if required, not all jobs do) - mileage is reimbursed.
