Duties Assist in supervising children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support classroom activities by engaging children in age-appropriate play, learning exercises, and developmental activities Step into various classrooms as needed to provide coverage during staff breaks or absences, maintaining consistent supervision Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences and progress Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures when necessary Support behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions among children Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Familiarity with special education needs and working with children with disabilities is a plus Ability to adapt quickly to changing classroom needs and demonstrate excellent child supervision skills Strong communication skills for effective parent interactions and team collaboration Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to grow their experience in early childhood education while supporting our team's mission of fostering joyful learning environments.
