Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Childcare Administrator to manage daily office operations, support center compliance, and foster welcoming communication with families and staff. This role ensures seamless administrative workflows, maintains regulatory documentation under Utah Child Care Licensing guidelines, and assists with enrollment and billing processes.
Key Responsibilities Administrative & Front Office Support:
Greet families, handle incoming calls/emails, manage office supplies, and schedule facility tours.Licensing & Compliance:
Maintain up-to-date staff and student records in compliance with Utah Department of Health & Human Services (CCL) regulations, including background checks, immunization logs, and CPR/First Aid certifications.Enrollment & Billing:
Process applications, maintain child attendance logs, assist with tuition billing, and manage state childcare subsidy (DWS) documentation.Staff & Classroom Assistance:
Coordinate staff schedules, track professional development hours, and step into classrooms as a substitute support when necessary to maintain state-mandated ratios.Qualifications & Requirements Education:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Business, Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred.Experience:
1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting.Certifications:
Must pass a background check via the Utah Child Care Licensing Caregiver Registry. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain upon hire).Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and child care management software (e.g., Brightwheel, EZCare, or Procare). Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license. Physical Requirements Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods and perform computer work. Ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs and assist in classroom settings when needed (bending, kneeling, sitting on the floor).Pay:
