Job Description

Full-Time House ManagerLocation:
Leesburg, VASchedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive House Manager to help support our busy household and keep our home running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment while also assisting with family logistics. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, comfortable working independently, and enjoys being around children.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain a tidy, organized, and presentable home throughout the day Manage household laundry, including washing, folding, organizing, and putting clothes away Keep children's bedrooms, play areas, and bathrooms clean and organized General household organization and upkeep Help with light meal preparation and dinner prep (chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, setting up meals, etc.) Assist with grocery organization and household errands as needed Drive children to occasional after-school activities, appointments, or outings Help maintain household routines and ensure things run smoothly Assist with seasonal organization projects (closets, pantry, etc.)
Family Details:
We have four children, ages 16, 13, 11, and 7. The role involves occasional support with children's activities and transportation, but this is primarily a household management position.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a house manager, nanny, family assistant, or similar role preferred Highly organized with strong attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to manage tasks independently Comfortable working in a family home and respecting privacy Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Must be comfortable around children Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
Position Details:
