Job Overview Professional Nanny - Richmond, VA White Coat Concierge Nanny is seeking a dependable and experienced professional nanny to support a private family in the Richmond, Virginia area. We are looking for a caregiver who brings professionalism, sound judgment, reliability, and a genuine commitment to providing safe, nurturing, development-focused care. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for children
- Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing environment
- Support children's daily routines, activities, and developmental needs
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's needs and daily activities
- Follow family instructions and established household routines
- Assist with child-related transportation when required
- Maintain discretion and respect family privacy
- Provide dependable care according to the agreed schedule
Qualifications Required:
- At least 2 years of professional childcare experience
- Professional nanny or private-home childcare experience preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain/renew certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Strong professional references
- Excellent communication and professional judgment
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening Preferred experience:
- Newborn or infant care
- Toddler or school-age childcare
- Early childhood education or teaching
- Healthcare or nursing experience
- Special-needs or autism support
- Sleep training
- Household management
- Travel nanny experience
