Job Overview Join our dedicated team as an Evening/Night Childcare Provider, where your energy and compassion will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families during evening and overnight hours. In this vital role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment for children of various ages, ensuring their well-being through attentive care, engaging activities, and responsible supervision. Your commitment will help families feel confident and supported during their evening routines or overnight needs. Duties Provide attentive childcare for children ranging from infants to preschool age during evening and night shifts, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Engage children with age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, development, and fun Monitor children's health and well-being, including administering basic first aid when necessary and following safety protocols diligently Assist with bedtime routines such as diapering, feeding, reading stories, and settling children for sleep Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to rest and play, adhering to all health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about children's needs, behaviors, and any incidents that occur during your shift Support children with disabilities or special needs by implementing personalized care plans and behavior management strategies Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or early childhood education is highly valued Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Classroom experience or experience managing behavior in young children enhances your ability to handle diverse situations confidently Familiarity with infant care routines, toddler care practices, and preschool activities ensures comprehensive support for children of all ages Proven ability to remain calm under pressure while providing compassionate caregiving during overnight hours This paid position invites passionate caregivers committed to nurturing young minds through responsible supervision, engaging activities, and heartfelt support.
