Full Job Description Description:
Summary of Duties The childcare staff position provides oversight of children's classes, ensuring the curriculum is taught and that safety policies and procedures are followed. They oversee, encourage, and assist volunteers in caring for children during Sunday Morning classes and special events. Essential Functions Be prepared to lead any of the Sunday morning classes to fill in for volunteers who call out Educate Volunteers about safety procedures and ensure adherence to procedures Ensure the schedule provided by the Children's Pastor is followed Ensure that child check-in and check-out procedures are followed Change diapers and assist with toileting as needed according to CTK policy Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with parents Provide support and correction for children using our CTK Kids behavioral support system Responsible for sanitizing toys and returning the room to the original organizational setup Complete timecards in a timely manner with accuracy Respond promptly to schedule requests from the Children's Pastor Report any injuries or incidents immediately to the Children's Pastor Provide feedback to the Children's Pastor regarding suggestions, supply needs, etc. Follow all CTK policies, procedures, and infrastructure systems to ensure that all interdepartmental efforts flow smoothly, limit risk, and respect coworkers Other duties desired by the

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Safety conscience Must have attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills Ability to master and communicate CTK safety policies Strong communication skills Must hold current CPR/First Aid Certification Infant - Adult Personal conduct must reflect the values and standards of CTK Must be able to sit on the floor, bend to reach objects on the floor and above your head,, and lift 30 lbs Competencies to Be Developed Ability to Train Volunteers in classroom duties and procedures Team Player Interpersonal and communication Skills
