They are looking for someone who brings both confidence and calm, someone who can gently lead with experience while creating a positive, supportive environment for both baby and parents. This family deeply values trust, communication, and building a genuine relationship with the person they welcome into their home. This role will focus on all aspects of newborn care, including establishing routines, supporting feeding and sleep schedules, and guiding the baby's early developmental milestones. The family is drawn to a Montessori-inspired approach and values structure, consistency, and emotional development, while also embracing creativity, play, and the joy of childhood. As first-time parents, they are looking for a nanny who can provide guidance and reassurance, helping them navigate each stage with confidence. Once trust is established, they will offer a high level of autonomy, allowing the nanny to confidently manage the day-to-day care of the baby. Day in the Life Your day will center around caring for the newborn while creating a calm, consistent rhythm in the home. Mornings may begin with feeding, soothing, and setting the tone for the day, followed by engaging in developmentally appropriate activities such as tummy time, sensory play, and early interaction. Throughout the day, you'll support naps, maintain feeding routines, and keep the nursery clean and organized. During quieter moments, you may assist with baby-related tasks such as washing bottles, organizing baby items, and light tidying of shared spaces. The environment is relaxed and respectful, and you'll have the space to lead the day independently while maintaining open communication with the parents. Ideal Candidate Warm, nurturing, and emotionally intuitive Experienced and confident with newborn care Comfortable guiding first-time parents with professionalism and kindness Strong understanding of infant development and early milestones Familiar with or interested in Montessori-style approaches Organized and naturally structured in daily routines Calm, patient, and steady presence Excellent communicator who values partnership and trust Able to work independently once rapport is established Seeking a long-term, meaningful role Candidate Requirements Minimum 3-5+ years of professional newborn or infant care experience Strong knowledge of newborn routines, sleep, and feeding support Valid driver's license CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Able to work legally on payroll (W2 position) Up-to-date on standard vaccinations (TDAP, flu, COVID preferred) Reliable transportation Comfortable working in a home with a family dog Role Considerations This is a newborn-focused role supporting first-time parents The nanny will play a key role in guiding routines and providing education and reassurance Parents value autonomy and will not micromanage once trust is established The home environment is relaxed, respectful, and relationship-driven Family is seeking a long-term placement and strong personal connection Light baby-related household tasks expected (nursery upkeep, bottles, organization) Dog in home is friendly and low maintenance Candidates must meet the following Agency requirements: Minimum of 21 years of age Non Smoker Have a Clean Criminal Record Have a Clean Driving Record Own a Fully Insured Reliable Vehicle Open to Making a One Year Minimum CommitmentHAVE A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS PROFESSIONAL NANNY/DOMESTIC CAREGIVER EXPERIENCE
