Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Child Care Center Director to lead and manage our early childhood education program. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children. Your leadership will inspire staff, engage families, and uphold the highest standards of educational excellence and safety. Duties Provide visionary leadership in curriculum development to ensure engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with early childhood standards. Manage all aspects of center operations, including staffing, budgeting, and facility maintenance, to create a safe, welcoming environment. Must be willing to substitute in classrooms as needed. Lead personnel management efforts by supervising staff, conducting faculty evaluations, and supporting professional development initiatives. Oversee compliance with state licensing regulations, special education laws, and health and safety standards to maintain accreditation and legal adherence. Develop and implement strategic plans for program growth, community engagement, and fundraising activities to support ongoing center sustainability. Manage budgets effectively as an executive education administrator, ensuring financial health while maintaining quality services. Collaborate with families, community partners, and stakeholders through public speaking engagements and transparent communication to foster trust and involvement. Plan, organize and attend marketing / community events as needed. Requirements Qualifications for Lead Teacher and Director per Wisconsin Registry CPR Certification (or willing to obtain) Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a school director within early childhood or K-12 education settings. Strong background in curriculum development, instructional leadership in education, and classroom experience working directly with students. Extensive management skills including personnel management in education, supervising staff, and managing budgets Working knowledge of classroom practices combined with leadership qualities that inspire teams to excel in early childhood education environments.
Pay:
$15.00 - $26.00 per hour
