3-Month Position | Approximately 4 Days/Week | $25•30+/hour A sweet Germantown family is looking for an experienced, dependable nanny to step in and support their family during an unexpected season. Their baby boy arrived early and is currently in the NICU, while Mom recovers at home from an emergency C-section. The nanny's primary responsibility will be caring for the family's two young daughters, allowing Mom the time she needs to recover and both parents the flexibility to spend time with the baby in the NICU. Both girls are active, playful, and love being outside, doing arts and crafts, and engaging in imaginative play. The family would love someone who will truly get involved and play, while also being confident setting boundaries and providing structure when needed. This is approximately a three-month temporary position , with a schedule of around four days per week, 8:30 a.m•5:00 p.m., generally remaining under 40 hours per week. Both parents may be home at times, so the nanny should be comfortable working alongside parents while confidently taking ownership of the girls' day. In addition to providing attentive and engaging childcare, responsibilities will include preparing simple meals and snacks for the girls, tidying up after the children, helping with their laundry, maintaining their daily routines, and keeping a consistent quiet/nap time. Outdoor play and trips to nearby parks are encouraged.
