We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are seeking a caregiving provider who is patient, positive, and possesses a calm demeanor that can provide safety and companionship to a pre-school-aged autistic boy. Your role will be to engage with the child through meaningful, developmentally appropriate activities, while supporting his individual needs and routines.
Location :
Green Bay, WI o Care provided in the child's home and nearby park
Schedule :
1-2 Days/Week o Mondays-Fridays 5:30 pm-9 pm o
Sunday Mornings Hourly Pay :
$10.60
About The Child Enjoys:
o Playing in the backyard o Going to the park/going on walks o Playing with toy cars, stuffed animals o coloring, play-dough, o Watching TV/having it on for background noise Responsibilities
  • Engage in meaningful interactions
  • Provide companionship by implementing favorite activities into the schedule
  • Meal prepping & feeding
  • Redirect behaviors when needed
  • Assist with cleaning up after toileting and changing pull ups
  • Assisting with bedtime routine Requirements
  • CPR & First Aid Certified
  • Experience working with autism/special needs children
  • Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle, & auto insurance
  • 2 years of driving experience
